Job overview
Be responsible for participating and assisting in the delivery of care/services to patient/service users within the Trust.
Work under the overall supervision of a registered member of staff.
Carry out a limited number of delegated procedures requiring a base level of theoretical knowledge, understanding and skill specific to the specialist area, whilst undergoing training.
Also, required to assist with housekeeping duties, and assisting Consultant with USS patients.

Person specification
QUALIFICATIONS
* General education completed.
* Holds National Care Certificate or be willing to undertake and complete within 12 weeks of starting.
* Level 2 Apprenticeship in health care OR Gain equivalent knowledge and skill undertaking the Trust Clinical Support Worker Development Programme.
* Holds Functional Skills Level 1 Maths and English or education equivalent.
EXPERIENCE
* Experience of working in an acute “care” environment, undertaking a full range of clinical commitments.
* Experience of working in more than one specialty within a health care environment.
SKILLS
* Able to work on own initiative, following direction by Registered Nurse.
* Second language skills.
