About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our products and processes. This includes identifying components for incoming inspection, supporting inspections for incoming and outgoing components, and completing FAIRs (First Article Inspection Reports). The role also involves non-conformance management, vendor audits, and internal audits.
Responsibilities:
* Conducting Incoming Inspections: Identify and inspect components for defects or non-conformities.
* Supporting Inspections: Collaborate with teams to ensure that all incoming and outgoing components meet quality standards.
* FAIRs Completion: Complete First Article Inspection Reports to document the results of incoming inspections.
* Non-Conformance Management: Investigate and resolve any non-conformities found during inspections.
* Vendor Audits: Conduct regular audits of suppliers to ensure they meet our quality standards.
* Internal Audits: Conduct regular internal audits to ensure our processes meet quality standards.
Requirements:
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering: A degree in mechanical engineering or an equivalent qualification is required.
* Quality-Related Work Experience: Significant experience in quality-related roles is essential.
* Internal Audit Experience: Proven experience in conducting internal audits is necessary.
* Strong Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills are required to identify and resolve quality issues.
* MS Office Skills: Proficiency in MS Office is necessary for documentation and reporting.
* ISO 9001 Knowledge: Familiarity with ISO 9001 is desirable.

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
