Job Title: HR Administrator
Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.00pm (38.75hrs)
Salary: £28,000 per annum.
Location: Halifax
Contract: Permanent F/T role
Holiday: 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
HR Administrator Duties
1. Provide proactive HR Administration support to ensure effective employee engagement, recruitment, retention, training, and development of all employees in line with company policies, quality standards, and legislation.
2. Assist with the development and updating of new HR Policies and manage the implementation of company policies.
3. Assist with all day-to-day HR queries from line management and employees.
4. Support with the recruitment process, including advertising positions, shortlisting candidates, arranging interviews, and assessments.
5. Engage with new starters throughout the onboarding process, ensuring that all pre-employment checks are managed in a timely and accurate manner.
6. Maintain accurate employee records including employee databases, personnel files, and third-party contacts.
7. Cover reception during lunches and to cover holidays/sickness when required.
HR Administrator Skills Required
1. Must have over 1 year of administration experience, including basic HR administrator experience.
2. Good organizational skills and attention to detail are a must.
3. IT literate with experience using MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
