The Role This role involves sampling, inspecting, and releasing incoming goods according to SOPs, specifications, and timelines. The responsibilities include performing tasks such as receiving checks, status updates, sample requests, inspection of retain samples, and destruction activities. The post holder will also ensure customer-specific requirements are met and may need to travel to other buildings for inspection and sampling. Adherence to cGMPs, SOPs, and customer instructions is essential, as well as maintaining a regular presence on the floors to monitor compliance and housekeeping. The role also includes checking documentation, suggesting process simplification and improved compliance, reporting breaches of GMP compliance, and providing support during investigations. The successful candidate should have strong attention to detail and the ability to work to a consistently high standard even under pressure. Efficient time management and the ability to prioritize daily activities independently are important for maximizing efficiency. The role may also involve administrative duties as necessary. Development opportunities exist within the role, with more experienced members of the team taking on additional responsibilities such as key-trainer and mentor roles, assisting with task allocation and prioritization, and representing the Quality department in meetings and visits. Inspection and approval of customer-supplied clinical material may also be part of the role. To thrive in this role, the ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of SOPs, cGMP, and quality control in a warehouse environment. Attention to detail and the ability to identify deviations from procedures are crucial. Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others in a team setting are also important. The role requires a proactive approach in suggesting process improvements and engaging with supervisors to implement them. Flexibility and willingness to travel when required are additional requirements for this role. ?
