The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Data & Administration Team Leader with extensive experience in and knowledge of the use of data and information systems to support Compass new Mental Health Support Teams in Birmingham. You will have all the skills of a senior administrator alongside the developed ability to input, store, retrieve, analyse and report on data from a client management information system.
Working alongside the Team Leaders and Service Manager will have responsibility for establishing integrated management information and administrative systems across the whole service including how information is recorded, collected, used, stored and analysed to ensure that services are aligned to best meet local needs. Based in Birmingham the post will work with and support delivery of services to children, young people and families in Birmingham.
The post holder will directly manage the Senior Administrator and oversees the direction and support to the administration team providing for high quality, efficient and effective administrative functions.
There may be some infrequent requirement to travel between our sites, schools and partner agencies.
Main duties of the job
Compass Birmingham MHST (Wave 12) is a new early intervention and preventative mental health and emotional wellbeing service. The service delivers evidenced based interventions for children and young people with mild to moderate mental health needs.
The service is part of the national MHST Programme, which has been commissioned following the Transforming Children and Young Peoples Mental Health Care Provision: A Green Paper (2017).
The Person
You will be a values-driven (integrity, valuing each individual, solution focused, consistent and reliable) leader with a passion for supporting children, young people and families mental health and wellbeing. You will also have:
1. A NVQ level 3 Business Administration or equivalent
2. Experience of inputting and producing statistical data and reports on databases and spreadsheets
3. Experience of managing and supervising others within a team

11. English Language and Maths - GCSE A C or equivalent qualification
12. NVQ level 3 Business Administration or equivalent
13. Level 3 IT Qualification/Training in Word, Excel and Microsoft Office Packages or equivalent experience

14. Experience in dealing with phone calls and email enquiries
15. Experience of inputting and producing statistical data and reports on databases and spreadsheets
16. Experience in Microsoft Office Packages, Word, Powerpoint, and Excel
17. Experience in providing support to others based in different locations
18. Working in a busy office environment where multi-tasking is essential
19. Organising, attending and taking minutes of meetings, producing reports, managing and analysing data and service user records
20. Liaising with clients/customers via the telephone, email and in person in a busy customer service environment.
21. Experience of managing and supervising others within a team.
