Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful applicant will work closely with plant managers, project managers, site engineers, and QS/supply chain supporting various functional Transmission & Distribution projects using Microsoft Office suite applications. What You Will Do: Process weekly day work sheets in line with individual site reporting requirements. Process material/plant/hire requisitions as issued by the projects in Oracle. Maintain and track the status of all plant and hire equipment and inform projects. Liaise with project sites and Supply Chain to maintain hire validities. Off hire equipment as required by projects. Maintain effective communications with vendors and hire companies. Assist in the processing of invoices for agreed accounts in accordance with T&D policies and procedures. Ensure the maintenance of adequate contemporary records, including scanning and electronic filing of data. Provide proactive administration and coordination support and assistance to all areas of the T&D Darlington Operations as and when required and requested by management and projects. Adhere to Wood's Health Safety Environmental/Ethics and Quality Policies and the arrangements described in the Company Management System documents. Ensure Company operates in a legal and responsible manner. Have awareness of the Health and Safety at Work Regulations which relate to office practices. Monitor incoming calls and emails for Plant and equipment requirements and take appropriate action. General administration duties including scanning, laminating, photocopying, and performing other related duties as required. Essential qualifications, experience, knowledge & skills: Educated to International Standard Classification of Education (ISCED) Level 3 (upper secondary). Previous experience in an office environment, with a demonstrable track record in a similar Materials, Equipment & Plant admin support role. Strong understanding of office administration processes and practices. Proficiency in standard software packages like Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Desirable experience, knowledge, & skills: Positive methodical approach to work with self-initiative and sound prioritisation skills to meet deadlines. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated diplomacy, personal integrity, and respect for confidentiality. Proven collaboration and problem-solving abilities.
