HEAD OF TECHNOLOGIES TLR 1a
We are seeking to appoint to the post of Head of Technologies a highly motivated and enthusiastic teacher who is an excellent classroom practitioner to take responsibility for leading all departments within the faculty.
The successful candidate will lead a Technology Faculty comprising Design & Technology, Engineering, Food and Health & Social Care. A key part of the role will be to create a strong faculty identity that highlights and develops links between the subject areas and ensures a high-quality curriculum is provided in each discipline that leads to outstanding progress for all students.
The Derby High School is the highest performing school in Bury, Greater Manchester, and has sustained this position for a number of years. We are passionate about delivering a high-quality and engaging curriculum and aspire to be a beacon of practice in the Technologies subjects.
