The University of Bath is looking for an individual to join our well-established University records system support team within the Academic Registry, a key central professional service. Our operational services and academic policy work contribute significantly to University life and to the development of learning and teaching. About us Registry Systems Officers are responsible for providing essential user and system support for systems that underpin the administration of the student’s academic journey. You will join us mid-way through a period of project work which has seen the implementation of strategic and operational change. Working with colleagues across Academic Registry and the wider University, you will support the implementation of a new curriculum management function within the University’s student records system (SITS), assisting in its roll out to academic departments. You will be supporting the creation and maintenance of curriculum and assessment data, as well as the implementation of assessment, progression and award rules within SITS. Using your team-working experience you’ll provide appropriate user support and training to a wide range of different system users across all these areas in the student lifecycle. This is an exciting opportunity because of the varied nature of the areas of user support you will be involved in, and the technical and communications experience you will gain. You will be supported in your development to increase your knowledge of SITs, building on your existing database experience. In addition, you will become proficient in our customer relationship management software and reporting tools. You will work in close collaboration with both administrators and system developers in Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT).
