Knightsridge Early Years Centre is looking for a highly motivated Pupil Support Worker to join the team. This is a part time post for 16 hours per week, working Wednesday and Thursday.
Knightsridge Early Years Centre provides early learning and childcare to the Knightsridge area of Livingston. We are open 50 weeks of the year for children aged 2-5 years.
The role of Pupil Support Worker will be to work as part of the whole school team, demonstrating a good knowledge of child development. The successful candidate will develop positive nurturing relationships with children, provide high quality interactions throughout their practice and support the learning and emotional needs of pupils.
This position requires registration with the SSSC. The successful candidate will have six months from the date of commencement of this post to become registered with the SSSC. SSSC stipulate you must submit your application within three months of your start date. If you are already registered with SSSC you will be required to add West Lothian Council to your account
This post is considered Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scotland Act. From 28 February preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council
