Field Service Technician Multi Skilled
Our Field Service Technicians are responsible for the installation, commissioning, and servicing of bottling and packaging equipment on our Customer Sites throughout the UK and Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
1. Undertake commissioning installations as required by Sales and Service.
2. Undertake Service visits as required.
3. Undertake courtesy visits to customers as required.
4. Liaise with Customer and OEM to ensure best possible outcomes at all times.
5. Attend OEM sites as required for, but not limited to, machine familiarisation, resolution of issues, and training.
6. Act as a resource for training and technical support for Sales and Service Teams.
7. Ensure all Health and Safety obligations are adhered to on site, maintaining both Customer and Evolution BPS standards of H&S compliance.
Skills
1. Multi Skilled Engineer with Electrical Engineering Qualification.
2. Excellent understanding of control systems.
3. Proficiency in PLC logic and fault diagnosis is desirable.
4. In-depth knowledge & experience of the bottling / food packaging / personal care market place.
5. Ability to develop a detailed technical understanding of the Evolution product range and its application.
6. Ability to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills to all levels of stakeholders within a business-to-business environment.
7. Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.
8. Strong self-motivation and ability to work autonomously.
In addition to the above, the successful candidate will be PC literate and hold a full, clean driving licence.
