This position can be based at either our Penrith Operations Base, or at the Newcastle Head Office, and there is working time across both sites as well as travel elsewhere in the UK as part of the role.
Ensure efficient and safe operation of UK activities and UK based holidays
Overall responsibility for the management of holiday operational information for all UK holidays
Management of the operations systems and tools for the UK (resource management, accommodation management, other)
Effective management of resources for all UK holidays, including guides, vehicles, trailers, bikes, equipment, ensuring all resources are maintained, safe and available
Assist in the development of holiday pricing and scheduling of all UK holidays
Contribute to Skedaddle best practices and projects as necessary
At least 5 years’ experience in an Operations role, preferably in travel/tourism
Experience of operations management in the travel sector
Clean driving licence, ideally experience driving medium sized vans (Transit/Boxer) and pulling trailers (or willingness to learn)
Love of travel and cycling
