We’re looking for a proactive and customer-focused Finance Customer Complaints Advisor to join our team and ensure smooth resolution of finance-related queries and complaints, enhancing the experience of students and stakeholders alike. The Role: Making a Difference Every Day As a Finance Customer Complaints Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for complaints related to our financial operations, particularly Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). You will: Handle and resolve inbound complaints promptly, ensuring professionalism, empathy, and adherence to service-level agreements. Investigate root causes of recurring issues and propose actionable solutions to enhance processes and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with internal teams and departments to ensure effective resolution of complex issues. Provide training and guidance to finance team members, setting high standards for complaint resolution and service delivery. Document and report on complaint trends, identifying improvement opportunities and supporting performance monitoring. What We’re Looking For We’re seeking a customer-focused professional with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous improvement. Essential Qualifications & Experience At least 2 years’ experience in customer service or complaints handling. Proven ability to resolve high-volume complaints efficiently and empathetically. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to handle challenging conversations professionally. A track record of identifying and influencing process improvements. Proficiency in MS Office and customer service software. Desirable Experience Familiarity with ERP systems like Unit-4 Agresso. Experience in the higher education, public sector, or finance industry. Understanding of Lean methodology or similar process improvement frameworks. Why join us?
