Summary (Major Purpose of the Role):
The Product Management Associate will support the Product Management Team in driving the growth and success of the product division through administrative support. This role involves assisting with market research, competitor analysis, launch plans, product queries, document libraries and coordination with Product Management, Sales and Commercial teams upon product launches.
Main Activities/Responsibilities:
Market Research:
* Carry out competitor product evaluations to identify risks to the business, new product opportunities or existing product re-development needs in order to maintain a commercial, competitive and differential advantage.
* Compile missed sales opportunities information.
Existing Product:
* Complete product analysis reports and evaluations.
* Creating consistent and up to date product information resources.
Data Sourcing and Analysis:
* Support the team in creating and providing sales data reports.
* Assist in identifying high performing and declining products.
Cross-Departmental Coordination:
* Collaborate with marketing, technical, quality and sales teams to support product launches.
* Ensure effective communication with wider business on new products and any data updates.
Reporting:
* Prepare reports on product development, market trends, and competitor activities.
* Assist in highlighting risks and opportunities for improvement.
Post Launch Support
* Support the business by providing information and answers to product related questions.
* Assist with new product sales training.
* Detail-oriented and highly organised.
* Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
* High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
* Ability to communicate well with all levels of staff.
* Methodical and structured in approach and actions.
* Efficient in the Microsoft Suite.
Education and Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
* Strong analytical and organisational skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
* Experience in the medical or health sector and data analysis is a plus.
