The Role:
As an Audit Manager, you’ll report directly to the Head of Division Partner and play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service to clients. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Building strong client relationships by providing expert advice and exceeding expectations
* Managing a diverse portfolio of clients, acting as the main point of contact
* Leading and managing audit assignments from start to finish, ensuring high standards, timely delivery, and client satisfaction
* Mentoring and developing junior staff, fostering their growth within the firm
* Supporting the practice in implementing new technologies and continuously improving systems
* Assisting with business development initiatives, including tenders, proposals, and expanding client portfolios
About You:
To succeed in this role, you will:
* Be ACA/ACCA qualified with at least 1-2 years PQE
* Have at least 6 years’ experience working in a UK accountancy practice
* Be comfortable managing audits and delivering high-quality results
* Enjoy building lasting client relationships and providing commercial insights
* Have strong communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving approach
* Be passionate about mentoring and developing junior talent
* Demonstrate a solid understanding of audit and accounting standards with a drive for continuous improvement
