Job summary ESNEFT provides a Community Stroke Rehabilitation Service delivered by Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Speech and Language Therapists working in an Integrated Team across North East Essex (Colchester and Tendring). We are looking for an experienced, motivated Associate Practitioner to join our team and assist our therapists in the provision of this service. It is preferable that you have experience of working in a community or stroke rehabilitation setting. It is essential that you are a car driver with access to a vehicle for work as you will be expected to travel across the North East Essex area. Main duties of the job The key objectives for this post are to provide goal focused rehabilitation, supporting patients to become experts in their own care and to remain in their own homes; to provide the holistic assessment and specialist treatment for stroke survivors; to support the smooth running of the service including the management of equipment ordering and other administrative tasks for the team. Clear clinical reasoning and good assessment skills are essential. You will be encouraged and supported to develop your clinical skills and be actively involved in service development.
