Rehabilitation Assistant (Bank) Circle Rehabilitation Bank Shifts Salary: Up to £12.50 per hour

We have an opportunity for an Rehabilitation Assistant to join their team of staff in the Physiotherapy department.
This is a bank role working on an "as and when required" basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.
Duties of this role include: Work collaboratively with nursing, physiotherapy, and occupational therapy teams to deliver rehabilitation programmes tailored to individual patient needs. Assist with mobility and positioning, including the safe use of hoists and mobility aids. Monitor vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure) and record clinical observations accurately. Support patients with nutritional needs, including assisting with feeding and monitoring fluid intake. Help patients engage in purposeful activities that promote cognitive, physical, social, and emotional recovery. Support patients and service users to access appointments, leisure, and community-based activities.
Applicants should meet the following criteria: Chartered Physiotherapist Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Knowledge of CSP and HCPC Codes and guidelines and their implications for practice. Knowledge of the Care Standards Act and Care and Quality Commission Requirements. Knowledge of Quality Assurance tools. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build therapeutic relationships. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Organised, reliable, and able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Willingness to undertake training and development as required for the role.
