JOB PURPOSE
If you are a Mechanical Technician, with skills and knowledge to conduct effective planned maintenance activities to maximize equipment availability, then this role is just for you!
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
1. Perform regular preventive maintenance tasks as per manufacturer's guidelines/specifications to ensure the longevity of the equipment.
2. Communicate effectively with management and other maintenance teams regarding equipment operation and maintenance.
3. Adopt EWO analysis to diagnose breakdowns to identify whether to replace or repair parts.
4. Continually seek to improve standards for both preventive and breakdown maintenance activities by recommending improvements to the Maintenance Supervisor.
5. Conduct all work activities in line with Unilever safety standards and safe working practices.
6. Understand and interpret technical plans, specifications, and operating manuals for the equipment.
7. Assist in developing standard operating procedures, work schedules, and budgets for repairs and maintenance.
8. Ensure cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and workspaces on a daily basis.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Experiences & Qualifications
1. National Diploma in General Mechanics.
2. Previous maintenance experience in Manufacturing Industries.
3. At least 2 years experience as a mechanical technician.
