An exciting position has arisen within our extremely busy food service business working alongside the directors to manage the purchase ledger along with other duties within the company. The position will offer a challenging role, with plenty of scope for the future. The successful applicant will be a key member of the team and will need excellent organisation and time management skills as well as be able to keep calm under pressure and always offer the highest level of customer service to our clients. Key responsibilities Maintaining suppliers account, allocating payments, generating statements Be the direct contact for supplier account enquiries; developing and maintaining strong working relationships with suppliers Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records Supporting in managing cash flow, VAT Return & company accounts Key skills & experience Sage 200 experience is essential Must have previous experience in a sales / purchase ledger role Accounting knowledge Good IT skills Attention to detail Dedicated & flexible to the company's needs A good sense of humour and ability to work in a fast paced environment We are a successful and expanding family run food service business delivering our products to hotels, restaurants and pubs within the local area.
