Contract Type: Part Time, Permanent
Location: Travel between RAF Brize Norton Oxon, OX18 1DR and RAF High Wycombe, HP14 4UE
Working Hours: 12 hours per week, Tuesday and Wednesday (with overtime at manager's discretion)
Salary: £23,000 pro rata
Role Overview
Are you an experienced Customer Service professional with an interest in the Armed Forces? VIVO is seeking a Repairs Liaison Officer to build and maintain excellent relationships with our Forces families and act as a liaison between our Accommodation repairs teams and our service users.
As part of your role, you will be travelling to RAF Brize Norton, RAF High Wycombe and sites in between to host coffee mornings and drop-ins to provide an inclusive and engaging forum to speak with the families at housing clinics to help with complaints and issues and offer support to the community. In addition to this, you will organise social value activities in the local community and ensure queries, complaints and issues are responded to, with the support of our repairs teams, in a timely manner.
What you'll need to do this role
To be successful in this role, you must have experience of working in a customer-facing role, with some experience of dealing with military customers, be an ex-forces member, or come from the Forces families community.
You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to resolve conflicts, deal with surprises, and establish credibility with demanding partners, the ability to elicit and meet customers' requirements with empathy, strategic insight and a commitment to meet their future as well as present requirements, and be able to use Microsoft packages confidently (Teams/Excel/Word etc.).
If you have experience of planning and hosting events that would be an advantage, but is not essential.
This role will require you to travel to remote sites weekly; therefore, it is essential that you hold a clean and valid UK driving licence or can travel to remote locations without the use of public transport.
You must be able to pass SC Clearance to be considered for this role.
