This is a full-time position, reporting to the Business Manager. Position Overview. The Selfridges x Lashify Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Lashify station at Selfridges (“Store”), ensuring that sales targets are met, staff performance is optimized, and customers receive excellent service. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to drive business growth while maintaining a high standard of operational excellence. Key Responsibilities. Team Leadership: Assist the Business Manager in leading and motivating the retail team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer experiences. Provide guidance, training, and support to team members as needed. Act on behalf of the Assistant Manager, when called upon. Customer Service Excellence: Set a high standard for customer service and lead by example in creating a welcoming and knowledgeable environment for customers. Handle escalated customer issues professionally and effectively. Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of Lashify's product line, including lash extensions, adhesives, removers, and accessories. Stay updated on new product launches, features, and benefits. Sales and Upselling: Drive sales by effectively showcasing Lashify products and explaining their unique features. Utilize upselling techniques to increase average transaction value and meet sales targets. Appointment Coordination: Assist customers in booking lash application appointments and coordinating schedules with our lash technicians. Ensure a seamless booking process and excellent customer experience. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, conduct regular stock audits, and coordinate with Warehouse to ensure adequate stock levels of lash products and accessories. Implement inventory control measures to minimize loss and optimize product availability. Operational Support: Assist in daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash management, and maintaining cleanliness and organization. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Key Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in a similar role within the beauty industry, preferably within a luxury or premium retail environment. Strong understanding of the beauty market, particularly in the lash category. Experience with makeup applications and/ or aesthetic treatments in an upscale retail environment. Exceptional sales and customer service skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. A passion for beauty and a keen eye for detail. Working Conditions This position requires standing for extended periods, walking, and occasionally lifting merchandise. To meet the business's needs, the role may involve working long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Start Date. Anticipated start date will be Saturday, April 15, 2025. Compensation. Starting salary will be £31,000 per year, payable on a monthly basis, in accordance with our standard payroll procedures. This salary is subject to deductions for taxes and other withholdings as required by law. In addition, this team member is eligible for commission based on Lashify’s commission structure. Overview This policy outlines the commission and bonus structure for Business Associates, Assistant Managers, and Business Managers at LASHIFY. It is designed to incentivize performance and align compensation with individual and store-wide achievements. II. Commission Structure for Business Associates (PT/FT) Base Salary Sales Associates and Keyholders will receive a competitive base salary, which may be an hourly wage or a fixed salary, to ensure financial stability. Tiered Commission Rates Sales up to £4,000: 5% commission Sales between £4,001 and £9,000: 7% commission Sales exceeding £9,000: 10% commission III. Bonus Structure for Business Managers & Assistant Managers Performance-Based Bonuses Sales Goals: Monthly or quarterly sales targets will be set. Both the Manager and Assistant Manager are eligible for a bonus if these goals are met or exceeded. Example: If the monthly sales goal is £20,000 and actual sales are £22,000, a bonus will be awarded. Bonus Amounts: Business Manager: £910 bonus for achieving the sales target. Assistant Manager: £455 bonus for achieving the sales target. V. Commission Payout Schedule and Calculation: Payout Timing: Commission payouts will be issued 30 days after the end of each month. Sales Calculation: Commissions will be calculated based on net sales, which are the total sales minus any discounts and returns. Returns and Adjustments: Only returns processed up to one week prior to the payout date will be deducted from the total sales. Returns occurring after this period will be applied to the following month’s commission calculation. Payment Method: Commissions will be paid via the same method as the employee's regular salary or as otherwise specified by company policy. Discrepancies and Disputes: Any discrepancies or disputes regarding commission calculations must be reported within 10 days of the payout date. The company will review and address such concerns promptly. VI. Implementation and Communication Clear Communication Ensure all team members understand the commission and bonus calculations and the performance metrics required to earn them. Regular Reviews Regularly review and adjust the commission and bonus structure to ensure it remains fair, motivating, and aligned with performance. Documentation Provide a written document outlining the commission and bonus structure to prevent misunderstandings and ensure transparency. VII. Objective This policy aims to enhance motivation and reward performance by linking compensation directly to individual contributions and store-wide success.
