Fixed Term Contract from April 2025 (Maternity Cover)
Here at Kingston College, we are seeking a Schools Partnership Coordinator to join us on a Fixed Term Contract.
As our Schools Partnership Coordinator, you will initiate and develop trusted relationships with key external stakeholders, in particular local schools, careers advisers, prospective student applicants and parents, using a range of knowledge, communication, and networking skills.
You will join a team of two, including one other Schools Partnership Coordinator and a Schools Partnership Manager, each having a focus on a particular borough to ensure Local Authorities and Schools have a single point of contact for STCG, but also working across the recruitment catchment area. Good progress is being made in developing relationships and raising the profile of the Colleges and this has had a positive impact on our application numbers and recruitment.
The team are supported by Marketing who continue creating and circulating communications and promotional materials for schools and Year 11 pupils, thus allowing the Schools Partnership Team to focus on engaging stakeholders and designing and delivering a bespoke, flexible programme of activities including assemblies, workshops, and career events.
We’d like our Schools Partnership Coordinator to have relevant experience of working with learners in a teaching or youth work capacity. With evidence of building effective working relationships with a range of key stakeholders and able to relate to young people from a variety of backgrounds, as well as their advisers and influencers, you will have excellent communication and presentation skills, including a creative approach to developing and delivering engaging presentations for large groups of people.
Organised and with project management skills of the highest level, you will bring experience of developing educational activities and materials to deliver a range of tailored information, advice and guidance. You will be able to work collaboratively as part of a team to meet shared objectives as well as on own initiative with less regular supervision to prioritise a varied workload, work to tight deadlines, multi-task and make appropriate decisions under pressure.
This post covers the South Thames Colleges Group area, namely Carshalton College, Kingston College, Merton College and South Thames College (Wandsworth).
