Are you someone who provides leadership for Business Readiness (BR) across a large scale Transformation Programme in Life and Pensions? We are looking for a strong established Transformation Manager that can come in and lead an Aviva Business Readiness workstreams, ensuring seamless transitions & protecting customer service.
Please note that is an initial fixed term contract for 12 months; however the programme is due to run for 3-5 years.
A bit about the job:
You will be responsible for developing the Business Readiness plans, running the business readiness activities (inc BR Forums & working groups); ensuring stakeholders are appropriately engaged as well as seeking and utilising external insight to strengthen the BR framework, ensuring Lessons learnt are mapped to Acceptance criteria / BR framework. You’ll also maintain central ‘objectivity’, holding teams to account for them delivering BR in the right way.
You will provide oversight and quality assurance of all Readiness activities and deliverables while ensuring these adhere to agreed governance framework and standards and drive decision making, aligned to delivery of outcomes, control frameworks and strategy.
A key aspect of the role is to create re-useable assets to support BR activity for events e.g. Acceptance Criteria, T gates, Controls assessment and preparing and presenting reports to senior leadership on readiness status, risks & mitigation strategies to enable SMF representatives to make informed Go/No Go decisions.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
* Experience of proactively managing large, complex Business Readiness plans and transformations.
* Experience in Financial Services (Insurance or Banking) essential, including Life and Pensions knowledge and knowledge of investment platforms and products, Operational processes & delivery methods/change framework.
* Excellent stakeholder management and influencing in a complex, highly regulated financial services environment including multi vendor / Strategic Partner deliveries to achieve win-win outcomes.
* Ability to foresee and articulate risks and put in place appropriate mitigations both to programme delivery and business ‘outcome’ risks, recognising where escalation is required.
* Commercial mindset in decision making and communication approaches.

* Salary around £60,000 - depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
* Bonus opportunity - 12% of annual salary. Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
