About this role The Just Eat UK Media team sits at the heart of the UK Marketing team and is responsible for strategy, planning, execution and measurement of all brand media campaigns. The Senior Media Manager is responsible for the development & implementation of the media strategy and annual media plan. This is a fast paced role that focuses on delivering upper funnel activity, aligning with the internal performance marketing and social media teams to deliver the best outcomes for the business. These are some of the key ingredients to the role: Ownership of E2E UK media plans: Strategy: co-own the development annual strategy with the Head of Media. The strategy should support the long-term marketing strategy and short-term commercial targets Planning: ownership of the quarterly media planning process with Just Eat’s media agency to develop data driven monthly plans aligning to business, marketing and trading priorities. Execution: oversee the execution of innovative ATL media plans and ensure delivery is aligned to plans and commercial targets. Measurement: measure and evaluate media plans at a holistic and channel level to demonstrate the role of media in driving short & long term objectives using a combination of MMM & incrementality testing. Leadership & Collaboration: Lead best practice across the marketing department and with wider stakeholder groups demonstrating thought leadership that drives business outcomes Develop and nurture one direct report Develop a strong network of working relationships across the UK business and Just Eat’s global marketing teams. Develop strong relationships with agency partners What will you bring to the table? Multiple years experience in a media role either in-house or agency, with knowledge of both ATL & digital channels Thorough understanding of media planning and buying process and the ability to optimise agency-client dynamics Familiarity with MMM outputs and incrementality testing, and how to apply learnings to both strategically and tactically. Ability to articulate media related activity to key stakeholders who may not be media or marketing experts. Internal: media & social team, uk marketing including management stakeholders, data & analytics, finance, UK leadership.
