Summary
Thank you for taking an interest in the post of School Business Support Officer 2 at Shakespeare Primary School. The successful candidate would be the first point of contact for all visitors to our school and should therefore offer a warm and friendly welcome which reflects our whole school ethos. They will undertake a diverse range of tasks and responsibilities within our very busy school office. These responsibilities will include being responsible for administrative and financial processes involving attendance registers, income, maintaining manual and computerised records and managing general administration and clerical duties for the school.
Experience of using school IT systems would be beneficial but not essential e.g. SIMS, ParentPay, School Portal. Experience of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint would also be beneficial.
We are looking for a resilient team player with a meticulous approach to their work. Someone who is friendly, skilled, and a team player to support our admin duties within school. The role is extremely demanding and, at times, brings high levels of pressure. The school office and the school business support officer are pivotal to everything that goes on in our busy, hardworking school. The role is permanent, full-time, and is a 38-week position which is term-time only. A flexible approach to working patterns would be expected with holidays unable to be taken in term time.
