P6 Planner London or remote Client side role with one of the UK's fastest growing renewable developers Berkshire Talent Partnership is thrilled to partner with the construction division of a leading organisation that is delivering some of the UK's most exciting energy infrastructure projects. As their team expands, they are looking for an experienced Project Planner to support their growing project portfolio. Reporting directly to the Project Controls Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of the business project portfolio. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around meticulous project planning, scheduling, progress tracking, reporting, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning: Collaborate with the engineering, project management and construction team to create comprehensive and realistic project plans, considering all aspects of the project. Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed schedules using Primavera P6, optimising resource allocation and ensuring adherence to project timelines. Progress Tracking: Implement robust progress tracking mechanisms to monitor the project's performance and promptly address any deviations from the plan. Reporting: Prepare clear and concise project reports for stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators, milestones achieved, and potential risks and mitigation strategies. Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify areas for process improvement and drive initiatives to enhance project planning and execution efficiency. Critical Path Analysis: Conduct critical path analysis to identify the most time-sensitive activities, providing insights to the project team for better decision-making. Key Requirements: Extensive experience of complex projects with a high mechanical, electrical, building services components. Demonstrable experience in employment with a reputable, client, consultancy or construction, EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) company Proficiency in Primavera P6 is a must, with a track record of successfully planning and managing complex engineering projects. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. Ability to adapt swiftly to changing project requirements and handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in project plans and progress tracking.
