Maintenance Engineer
Location: Grangemouth
Shift Pattern: 4 days on, 4 off (2 days, 2 nights: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Salary: Around £48k
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to ensure efficient operation of our machinery, perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvements. Your expertise in mechanical, electrical, and process engineering will support production and minimise downtime, contributing to a safe, productive environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on machinery and systems.
2. Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and process issues efficiently.
3. Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to enhance equipment reliability.
4. Coordinate with production teams to minimise maintenance disruptions.
5. Develop strategies to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
6. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities.
7. Ensure safety protocols are met during both day and night shifts.
8. Monitor and manage spare parts inventory with procurement.
Requirements
1. Time served or Apprenticeship Qualified Engineer.
2. Experience in a similar role, ideally in manufacturing.
3. Proficiency in diagnosing equipment issues and preventive maintenance.
4. Strong organisational and communication skills.
5. Ability to work independently and within a team on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern.
