Area Sales Manager - Field Based Role: Monday-Friday, Full-time, Permanent Office Location: Northfleet, Essex / Field based Salary: £42-48k Car Allowance & bonus scheme (OTE 30% bonus – 7.5% every quarter) Role Covering: London, Northern Home Counties & East Anglia Project Partners are now on the look out for an experienced Senior Sales Consultant or Area Sales Manager to come and join a fantastic team in Northfleet, Essex. This is a field-based role where you will be based from home, with occasional 1 a day week work in the office where required. This role you will be selling concrete products (Blocks/Bricks/Paving) Role: To increase profitability by striving the achieve Sales Targets, Lead Generation, building relationships with customers and ensuring pricing is effective. Grow relationship with existing customers to maximize sales opportunities. Acquisition of new customers through coordinated business development activities. To establish co-operative working relationships with other employees. Achieve individual sales targets and proactively champion the team’s objectives in order to achieve unit targets. Use a professional customer service approach when dealing with customers resulting in a superior customer experience. Manage personal work activities, ensuring the workload is achieved to agreed deadlines and quality standards. Take responsibility for maintaining their own knowledge and the development of others on the company processes, procedures, databases and supporting information. Use this information to maximize sales opportunities. Adhere to the requirements of legislation and company Health & Safety policies. Continually promoting employee involvement in Health & Safety practices and leading by example. Take appropriate remedial action when standards are not met. Good verbal, written communication, numeracy and IT skills. Candidate Experience: Good level of IT skills and knowledge of standard computer applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP. GCSE or A Level Education. Previous Sales and negotiation experience. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Broad product knowledge awareness. Ability to achieve and exceed expectations and targets. Self-motivated, enthusiastic and an entrepreneurial spirit. The ability to work as part of a team as well as work on own initiative. Full UK Driving License. Specific product and industry knowledge. (Desirable) Experience of dealing with both National & Independent Builders Merchants.
