We are looking for a Process Operator with preferably some experience working within a factory environment, who is computer literate and works with a high level of focus on procedures, quality and efficiency is required to join our well-established team at Alphagary based in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, East Midlands. ALL LEVELS OF EXPERIENCE CONSIDERED FULL TRAINING PROVIDED Role overview: Alphagary design and manufacture durable, high-performance and sustainable compounds which are used in healthcare, communications, energy, building & construction and consumer products. Our roots go back to the 1960s and although we may have changed names over the years our longest serving UK employee now has over 42 years service. Ideally you will have some experience working within a factory environment, be computer literate and be able to work with a high level of focus on health and safety, quality and following procedures. As the Process Operator you will be making large volumes of compounds by following recipes, measuring out the raw materials into large hoppers and then once mixed, bagging the finished goods, which are plastic pellets, ready for the logistics team to ship directly to customers. We will train you on all aspects of the job and if you dont have one already, we will train you to drive a forklift. The role requires lifting of 25kg bags therefore the ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable adjustment.
