We will be recruiting for Level 3 and Level 4 apprentices in 2025 to join us on either a Mechanical or Electronic Engineering technician apprenticeship. We take you through levels 3 and 4 as standard but most of our apprentices go on to do their level 5 qualification and some even go on further to complete a degree. What does an Ontic Apprentice do? Whilst working for Ontic and gaining hands-on experience you'll work towards completing either a Level 3 or 4 qualification in either Mechanical or Electronic Engineering, building a solid foundation and developing a range of knowledge and practical skills. You'll spend your first year at Gloucestershire Engineering Training (GET) to support your on the job training, and then join the business full-time in years 2 & 3. What will you need to apply? To join us on a Level 3 Apprenticeship 5 GCSE's or equivalent, including Maths & English at a level 4 or above or be predicted to achieve this To join us on a Level 4 Apprenticeship An existing Level 3 qualification in Engineering OR A-Level Maths and Physics at grade C or above You’ll be an enthusiastic individual, who likes to work in a busy, hands-on environment; is driven and committed to learning and developing.
