SEND Teaching Assistant (Part-time, mornings only)

Working Hours: Monday- Friday, term time only 8:30am-1:00pm
Unique School Solutions is supporting a warm and welcoming primary school in the S60 area of Rotherham to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work in their integrated resource supporting children in Key Stage 1 with SEND needs. The role will involve working within the classroom under the direction of the teacher to support students with the curriculum.

Essential requirements for the role:
1. Previous experience working within a school (mainstream or special)
2. Experience supporting children with SEND
3. The ability to build rapport with young learners
4. The ability to work under the direction of the class teacher as well as using your own initiative
5. The ability to support small groups on a 1:1 basis
