Our client is searching for a Finance Manager to join their team - this perfect for an individual looking to make a step up into a senior leadership position. This role is key to ensuring that administrative and accounting functions support the company’s efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and client-focused service.You will have a proven ability to manage financial processes, maintain and strengthen customer relationships, and deliver continuous, high-quality service.
Responsibilities:
* Manage a team overseeing purchase ledger, sales ledger, and other accounting functions.
* Ensure financial implications of business decisions are considered.
* Prepare and analyze trial balance and management accounts to tight deadlines.
* Produce and reconcile the balance sheet.
* Maintain accuracy of accounting systems.
* Analyze product profitability, including functional P&L.
* Deliver weekly P&L reporting.
* Reconcile company billing systems with accounting records.
* Prepare a weekly 3-month cash flow forecast.
* Review payment proposals before processing.
* Handle quarterly VAT and credit reports, plus other external reporting.
* Maintain stock accounting records and analyze price variances.
* Assist with external audits and statutory accounts preparation.
* Oversee payroll processing and reporting.
* Support business-wide reporting, process, and system improvements.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
* Professional accounting qualification (e.g. CPA, CMA)
* Proven experience in financial management and leadership role
* Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
