Wood Transmission and Distribution is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the Commercial area of our growing business! As a leading provider of engineering and construction services to the UK transmission and distribution sector, we are at the forefront of net zero 2050 with a secured workstream for years to come.
This role offers flexibility as a hybrid role, working from home, site, and ideally our Glasgow office.
This position is ideal for an experienced and commercially minded Senior Quantity Surveyor from a civils/infrastructure background, or with a broad project portfolio, seeking a high-profile challenge. The role involves providing commercial support on financial and contractual matters, post-award contract administration, delivering commercial and contractual outputs, implementing project plans, cost analysis, cashflow forecasting, developing subcontracting strategies, contributing to project reviews, and managing project performance within budgets.
The successful candidate will support our expanding workload in overhead lines and contribute to the UK's network capacity increase, supporting the pathway to 2030 and net zero transition. This is a chance to be part of a team making a real difference, with a culture of innovation and problem-solving.
