We are seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Development Manager to join our team at AJ Group. This is a permanent position offering a negotiable salary, plus generous company benefits.
About the Role
This senior role involves leading and managing civil engineering works from tender stage through to project completion. You will support, manage, and coordinate on a range of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
You will be responsible for reviewing ITT documentation, preparing preliminary designs, undertaking risk assessments, and assessing design requirements. Additionally, you will liaise with contractors, estimators, and internal teams to ensure that site-specific requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities
* Support and lead the civil engineering team in all aspects of project delivery, including tender stage, pre-construction, construction, and post-construction phases.
* Review and provide feedback on external civil designs against specifications, works information, and client requirements.
* Liaise with contractors, designers, and internal teams to ensure site readiness and optimal design.
* Manage interfaces with clients, their management systems, and processes.
* Provide ongoing civil engineering support and oversight during construction works.
Requirements
* Degree-level qualification (HND or higher) in Civil Engineering or similar degree.
* Minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience in civil engineering, preferably in a leadership or management role.
* Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
* Willingness and ability to undertake site visits across the UK & Ireland.
