Job Description
Are you passionate about community-driven impact? Do you thrive in roles where no two days are the same? Harris Hill are looking for a dedicated Community Fundraising Officer to join a friendly, London-based charity.
As a Community Fundraising Officer, you'll take the lead on building community connections, inspiring local businesses, schools, and community organisations to support the charity mission. You’ll work on exciting events like the Royal Parks Half Marathon and Brighton Marathon, guiding and supporting families, volunteers, and third-party fundraisers.
Your Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and strengthen relationships with local communities, businesses, and supporters.
2. Provide a positive, sensitive supporter journey for all involved in the charity mission.
3. Recruit and inspire volunteers to participate in third-party events.
4. Collaborate with the wider fundraising, communications, and marketing teams.
5. Spearhead supermarket charity initiatives, including writing and submitting applications to secure essential funding.
About You
You have experience in community fundraising and know how to build genuine connections. You’re equally comfortable supporting families who wish to fundraise as you are giving presentations to students or potential volunteers. With strong interpersonal skills and a knack for organisation, you’re proactive, target-driven, and ready to innovate to expand our reach.
An enhanced DBS check will be required for this role.
