Our leading Facilities Management client is seeking a Catering Assistant to join the team in Cardiff (CF11 9XB). Working at a local office, you will support the kitchen staff with the preparation of food and drinks.
Overview
1. Monday to Friday 12pm to 6:30pm
2. Overtime available if required
3. PAY RATE: GBP11.44 + Holiday (weekly pay) + Pension
4. Temp contract - Potential for permanent position for the right candidate
5. Full training provided

Duties include:
1. Assist in the preparation and serving of food and beverages
2. Ensure cleanliness and organization of catering areas
3. Set up and clear tables and dining areas
4. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs
5. Monitor food stock levels and report shortages or wastage
6. Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times
7. Help with the transportation and delivery of catering items to events
8. Support the kitchen staff with food preparation tasks
9. Handle cash transactions and process payments when required
10. Maintain equipment and report any faults or damages
11. Assist in the setup and breakdown of catering events and functions
12. Follow company procedures and policies for service delivery
Experience needed:
1. Customer service skills
2. Hard working and reliable
3. Immediate to start
4. Reliable and committed
5. Updated DBS issued within the last 12 months
6. Level 2 Food Certificate
