You will need to be technically astute and have good hands-on experience in carrying out the planned and reactive maintenance of mechanical and air conditioning systems. Applicants must have refrigeration and air conditioning qualifications, including a current F-Gas Cat 1 certificate. Engineers should also have worked within data centres or banking environments, which has enabled them to build extensive hands-on experience in this critical field. Air Conditioning engineers applying for this role must have a good working knowledge of CRAC units, large commercial water chillers and split A/C units from all the major manufacturers. · Responsible for ensuring that HVAC specialist provides all and any relevant RAMS
Act as a mechanical competent person (CP)
· Prepared to attend AP11 and medic first aid training and be an Authorised Person (AP)
· Technical oversight (support as required) on all mechanical
works and projects (In-Life and Fit-Out)
· Assisting with commissioning and witnessing existing infrastructure upgrades and enhancements; this will also include new facilities.
· Participate/support in-house training to operational colleagues to increase awareness and
competencies with respect of mechanical/HVAC systems.
