About the Opportunity Exeter City Football Club is offering a unique opportunity for a passionate and driven university student to join our 1 st Team as a Performance Analyst Intern. This role is designed for a sandwich year student eager to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical, elite football environment. Working within the 1 st Team setup, the successful applicant will gain valuable experience supporting the 1 st team players in their performance for the 25/26 season. You will be guided by the Head of Performance analysis and supported by the First Team Performance Analyst department. Role Responsibilities Filming: Record training sessions & home matches. Equipment Management: Equipment is maintained, secured, and regularly serviced. Analysis: Trianing analysis maintain and analyse training log, support opposition analysis, support goal keeper anaysis Collaboration: Work closely with coaches and support staff to meet performance analysis objectives. Development: Continuously expand your skills and knowledge in performance analytics. What We’re Looking For Essential Criteria: Currently studying a degree in Sport Science or a related field with an interest in Performance Analysis. A genuine passion for working within an elite football environment Strong desire to build a career in Performance Analytics. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting player welfare. Desirable Criteria: FA DBS check, BFAS certification, and Safeguarding Children Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
