Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a therapy assistant post within the Children's Therapy Team working full time hours based at Beech House, Lincoln supporting children and their families in Lincoln, Gainsborough and the surrounding areas. Full training and support will be given to enable you to develop into a competent and skilled Children's Therapy Assistant. You will join a friendly, dynamic, innovative and supportive children's team who meet regularly for training, peer support and clinical supervision. The team is passionate about improving outcomes and quality of life for children with physical disabilities and respiratory problems living in Lincolnshire. Please note this position will not commence before June 2025 Main duties of the job This post will support the therapy team in the management of children with physical difficulties working across the disciplines of occupational therapy and physiotherapy. The successful applicant will help to deliver therapy packages in the community and associated administrative and cleaning/housekeeping tasks under the supervision of the professional grades. They will also be required to support families as necessary in the home setting promoting good communication between school and home consolidating therapy advice. This post requires a well motivated, enthusiastic, energetic individual with good communication and IT skills. Experience of working with children is essential.
