We are currently seeking a confident and compassionate Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a mainstream primary school in the Greater Manchester area. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners, supporting their educational journey in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1-2-1 or small group support to pupils with special educational needs (SEN).
* Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
* Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
* Foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
* Monitor and report on pupils' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
* Assist with classroom management and administrative tasks as required.
* Encourage positive social interactions and emotional well-being among pupils.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role is desirable.
* A passion for working with children and a commitment to supporting their educational development.
* Patience, empathy, and the ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
* Knowledge of SEN and experience with specific learning difficulties is an advantage.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* A valid DBS check or willingness to undergo one.
