Business Improvement Lead
£29,000 to £35,000pa DOE

As Commercial Services Groups Energy & Carbon Division is rapidly developing with investment like never before, we are looking for a pro-active Business Improvement Lead to support our transformational programme focused on people, systems and process improvements, across two of our energy businesses.
The successful candidate will have a solution focused mindset and will thrive on change. They will manage a range of complex projects from initial conception and planning to business case approval and delivery. Consistency is key when managing projects; all activities, dependencies, budgets and timelines must be meticulously managed to guarantee the realisation of tangible business benefits.

Key duties -
* Reporting to the Head of Business Improvement, leading on the day-to-day organisation of transformation projects; coordinating workstreams, managing resources, timelines and budgets, ensuring tangible business benefit and return on investment is realised
* Creating and maintaining a range of comprehensive project documentation including project plans, RACI charts, risk registers, highlight/status reports as well as presenting at Project Steering Groups, and the Business Improvement Board
* Holding accountability for the project management of all Business Improvement initiatives and projects in Division, working collaboratively with colleagues on Group wide projects
* Coordinating and managing a range of internal resources, key stakeholders as well as third parties/vendors, for the successful execution of all projects
What we need from you -
* Previous experience in a successful business improvement role, whereby tangible benefits have been realised
* Proven experience in successfully delivering software/systems implementation projects
* Knowledge of project management processes and techniques
* Excellent communication skills in coordinating and managing a range of resources, stakeholders and third-party suppliers
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to present information and analysis in a clear concise manner, adapted to meet the needs of the audience
