This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the expanding Prison Healthcare Team in NHS Forth Valley with the opportunity to work across three Prisons including the new purpose built National Women’s Facility at HMP Stirling. We would welcome applications from Occupational Therapists who have an interest in developing their skills and working within a rewarding and challenging environment.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop OT skills within a supportive OT and MDT Team within the Prison Mental Health Team and wider Prison Healthcare service, with opportunities for both professional and personal development.
The successful candidate will be committed to improving and developing the Mental Health OT service and must have a strong collaborative approach to care, welcoming the opportunity to work in a multi-agency setting.
The successful candidate(s) will be HCPC registered with strong leadership skills and will be mobile across all sites in NHS Forth Valley. Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
NHS Forth Valley is embracing contemporary working. As and when required, the post holder will be expected to participate in twilight or weekend working.
