Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Children's Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of anatomy and a passion for providing exceptional patient care. You will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, developing care plans and ensuring the highest standards of health and safety are maintained.
Duties
1. Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and medical histories.
2. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans based on patient needs.
3. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
4. Monitor patients' progress and respond to changes in their condition.
5. Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
6. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care delivery.
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
8. Uphold infection control protocols and promote a safe environment for patients.
Qualifications
1. Valid nursing registration with the appropriate regulatory body.
2. Proven experience in patient care within a clinical setting is preferred.
3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
4. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
5. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
6. A compassionate approach with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
7. PEWS Training
8. EPR Training - This needs to be completed before approval.

1. Nursing: 1 year (preferred)
