Swansea University Health Board is seeking to appoint to a 10 session Medical Oncologist post in Melanoma, who has a commitment to high quality patient care, high level research, innovative service models, delivery of performance targets and excellence in education/training.
Main duties of the job
Melanoma
The postholder will be an integral member of the melanoma team, working with 1 other oncologist and a senior clinical fellow. The team is supported by a specialist nurse and pharmacist.
The postholder will provide a comprehensive systemic therapy service for patients with melanoma. The postholder will work closely with the skin MDT, including dermatology and plastic surgery.
The candidate will be seeing approximately 80 new patients and 400 follow-up patients per year.
