Role Overview: HR Employment is happy to recruit for a new opportunity as a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our client's Sales Team in a fast-paced environment. This individual will play a crucial role in their expanding business during an exciting period of growth. About the Company: they are leading international provider of advanced telecommunications solutions for mission and business-critical networks.
Responsibilities:
Develop and build new customer relationships while maintaining existing ones.
Identify new business opportunities and markets.
Quantify network operator projects and close sales orders.
Identify and quantify business sectors for broadband, utilities, government/defense, and system integrators.
Present telecommunications solutions to potential users and proactively promote our client's value proposition.
Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote products and the business.
Create sales forecasts and actively work towards achieving them.
Participate in the completion of tender applications.
Deliver sales presentations to prospective and existing customers.
Collaborate with the engineering team to find resolutions and solutions for customers.
Expectations:
Achieve a minimum annual revenue of £1,000,000.
Possess a strong understanding of our client's products and industry competition.
Demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Exhibit strong leadership and time management abilities.
Have technical skills to understand and propose products and solutions based on client requirements.
Stay updated with industry standards, trends, and insights.
This role can be operated remotely after initial on-site training, with occasional visits to the office.
Desirable Qualifications:
Management experience or a degree in Marketing, Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or Business Administration.
5+ years of proven experience in the telecommunications sector.
Compensation:
Basic salary of £50,000+ per annum, depending on experience.
Commission package.
Car allowance.
Laptop and mobile phone.
20 days of annual leave (plus 8 bank holidays and 1 day of birthday leave).
Pension scheme enrollment after 3 months of employment.
6-month probation period.
