Vertu Motors, Marketing Analyst Location: Gateshead Salary: Up to £35k based on experience Here at Vertu Motors, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Marketing Analyst who loves working in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for marketing data and unearthing actionable insights to join our team. This role will be based with our central marketing team in Gateshead, and we offer hybrid working for this role. Key responsibilities: Lead marketing actionable insight development and delivery to drive marketing performance optimisation. Build, develop and maintain data attribution models and automated dashboards. Research and develop external market insight to provide benchmarking and support marketing strategy. Evaluate marketing channel, CTA and campaign performance through to enquiry, qualified lead and sale. Produce performance improvement hypotheses, options and recommendations to test, evaluate and learn. Collaborate closely with key stakeholders across marketing and the business to align dashboards and insight with business objectives, targets and KPIs. Present analysis, insight and findings to marketing senior management to influence decisions and strategy. Marketing lead on data governance, documentation and definition working closely with our IT Data and Analytics team. Support CDP development, measurement and optimisation. Skills and Experience: Significant experience of developing analytical insight for a Retail Marketing team to optimise performance Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and forecast trends. Highly adept at working with complex marketing data to summarise & present to senior management with clear actionable insight. Highly capable in developing reports and dashboards with visualisation tools. Excellent communication and soft-skills to gain trust, buy-in and set expectations. Experience with advanced modelling and visualisation techniques such as regression, correlation and predictive analysis. High level of commercial acumen and a customer-focused approach. Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment. Strong collaborative skills, working seamlessly across marketing, digital, finance, and operations teams.
