We are investing our services for neurodivergent young people in Buckinghamshire. If you are passionate about delivering top quality assessment and intervention, inspiring change, and getting children and young people the support and care they need then we are looking for you.

In this role you will be a vital member of the team helping the system to understand the complete identity of the young person and how their neurodivergence, mental health and developmental profile influences how they interact and how they understand the world.

Main duties of the job
1. To support the Neurodevelopmental Assessment and ADHD clinic Operational lead in the delivery of specialist services whilst also holding a clinical caseload
2. Lead on dynamic, holistic and evidence-based assessments to identify neurodevelopmental needs
3. To deputise for the Operational lead when required.
4. To be responsible for the line management, case supervision and appraisal of team colleagues

Qualifications
Essential criteria
16. Mental Health or equivalent qualification ie Nurse, OT, SaLT, SW. Maintenance of professional registration
Experience

17. Post qualification experience in a mental health setting, Clear evidence of working with young people and families who are experiencing significant mental health issues / neurodiversity

18. experience of using semi structured assessments ie ADOS
