Are you an experienced, passionate, and adaptable Primary School Teacher looking for a flexible teaching opportunity in Salisbury? [Teaching Personnel are woring with a warm and welcoming school, that is seeking a strong teacher to provide supply cover for a Year 5 class in Key Stage 2. This role offers the flexibility to step in and manage the class without the responsibility of planning.
About the Role:
As a Supply Teacher for Year 5, you will be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lessons and maintaining a positive, productive classroom environment. You will be stepping in to support the class, ensuring that students stay on track with their learning while you manage the classroom and provide support where needed. This is an ideal opportunity for teachers looking for flexible working arrangements, whether for short-term or longer-term assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Follow existing lesson plans and deliver them effectively to the class.
* Manage classroom behavior and ensure a positive learning environment.
* Support students with their learning and ensure their well-being throughout the day.
* Provide clear instructions and make sure that students are engaged and on-task.
* Report any issues or progress to the regular class teacher at the end of the day.
Key Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Previous experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (preferably Year 5).
* Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to different classroom dynamics.
* A proactive and flexible approach to teaching and working within a school environment.
* Ability to follow instructions and deliver lessons in a consistent manner.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to quickly build rapport with students and staff.
