Join Our Team as a Service Coordinator at Co-located Services in Leeds!
Are you passionate about making a real difference in the delivery of high-quality urgent care services? We are looking for a Service Coordinator to support the day-to-day of our Co-Located Services within the Local Emergency Departments in Leeds. This is a new role due to the growth of the service and an enhanced model of care.
This is an interesting and busy role for someone looking for a new challenge where they can really make a difference. The successful candidate would be joining a dedicated team, passionate about supporting our patients and each other.
Reporting to the Operations Manager and in partnership with the wider clinical operations team, the post holder will be responsible for quality, business, workforce and financial planning, and will work closely with their team and the wider Group to support local and company wide objectives.
As a Service Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in the operational success of our service. You’ll manage the clinical rota, ensuring that the right clinical staff are available, and that any staffing gaps are addressed swiftly. You will also oversee the smooth allocation of clinical rooms and support a team of non-clinical staff, including Patient Navigators, providing them with leadership and support. Working closely with the Operations Manager, you’ll contribute to both the strategic development of the service and the continued growth of our team. From overseeing sickness records and managing locum arrangements to conducting appraisals and ensuring seamless onboarding for new staff, you’ll help maintain a high standard of care and service delivery.
Ideally you would have previous experience in a similar coordinating or project management role, and be happy working across a variety of tasks and managing team deadlines. We're looking for a self-starter who will get stuck in from day one, helping to manage the daily requirements.

* Educated to degree level and evidence of continuing professional development
* Prior experience within Urgent Care, with an understanding of urgent care systems and external impacts on the service.
* Strong, inclusive leadership style and team building, with the ability to motivate and guide non-clinical teams.
* Strong administrative skills, with experience in rota management, HR systems, and general workforce management.
* Communication and facilitation skills
* An understanding of the needs of a fast-paced, dynamic environment and the ability to juggle multiple tasks effectively.
* Personal resilience and ability to prioritise work to meet challenging deadlines through effective time/workload management
* Experience of managing multi-stranded situations where there may be conflicts of opinions involving a wide range of stakeholders
* Ability to make judgements and decisions leading to resolution through effective negotiation/problem solving
* Strong analytical skills; literacy, IT and numeracy skills
About Leeds Urgent Care
Alongside Shakespeare Walk-in Centre, the Co-Located Services are based within the three emergency departments within Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. The services are located either in or near to Leeds City Centre, has good public transport links and onsite parking.
