Are you a proactive and people-focused HR professional looking to make a real impact in a fast-paced, scaling business? We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic People Operations Manager to join our dynamic team at a VC-backed PropTech scale-up.
This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with our Director of People, supporting our global workforce while driving best-in-class people processes. You'll play a key role in shaping the employee experience, partnering with leaders, and ensuring our policies and operations support our growing team.
What you'll do:
1. Employee Relations - Advise managers on performance, sickness, disciplinary matters, grievances, and flexible working requests.
2. People Operations - Own the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, payroll, benefits administration, and internal mobility.
3. Compliance & Governance - Keep us up to date with UK employment law and global best practices, ensuring policies and processes are compliant.
4. People Data & Reporting - Maintain accurate records and provide valuable insights to drive decision-making.
5. Key HR Projects - Lead initiatives in HR technology, performance cycles, pay reviews, and employment law updates to enhance our people strategy.
What we are looking for in a candidate:
1. Strong experience managing end-to-end Employee Relations cases with a commercial and pragmatic approach.
2. Deep knowledge of UK employment law (global experience is a bonus!).
3. Proven ability to develop and implement policies in a scaling environment.
4. Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills to interpret and act on people insights.
5. Tech-savvy, with experience leveraging HR systems to automate and streamline processes.
6. Excellent communication skills - able to build trust and credibility at all levels.
7. High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
