Fathom is a part of the Swiss Re group of companies. About the role We’re looking for fresh marketing talent to join Fathom at an exciting growth stage. This is an industry-centred role where you will work closely with our sales team across the financial markets to support their revenue growth objectives. You will have the opportunity to fully immerse yourself into the world of climate and flood risk and its far-reaching impact on the global financial resilience, climate reporting and asset management landscape. You will lead the interaction between marketing and sales for your vertical, engaging in partner marketing, industry relationships, field activities and sales enablement for this interesting and solutions-driven vertical. It offers immersion in the full modern enterprise marketing mix, market research, the sales revenue funnel and Fathom’s unique product portfolio. The position will require you to work closely with colleagues in Fathom and the wider Swiss Re group in product, sales and customer success, as well as Fathom’s growing team of world-renowned flood and climate scientists. You will be joining a team of marketing specialists (PR, digital, product and audience), who are looking for candidates who can embody the voice of the customer across the full range of financial market disciplines. You will get broad, and global, exposure to industry challenges and use cases through our industry-leading partners and customers in financial markets and beyond. Accountabilities Market research & sales enablement Being the voice of customer through persona research, market prioritization, defining ICPs for your sector Market insight, media monitoring, customer surveys and research Understanding the evolving regulatory landscape Delivering nurture campaigns across the full customer lifecycle CRM and tech support - work with digital marketing to support the adoption of new tech and grow automation tools to increase outreach to clients and prospects Inbound lead data management Supporting the sales team with target company research and contact acquisition best practices and training (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Lusha (or equivalent), CRM) Content marketing Development of industry specific content that appeals to various points within the customer life-cycle, including case studies, webinars, sales enablement assets and use cases Creation of persona messaging frameworks and management Event presentation support (PowerPoint & Adobe Acrobat); including design and presentation clean up Content creation for website, social and external channels Physical marketing assets: sourcing/supplier research, design spec, ordering, inventory, budget and logistics for events Partner and field marketing Managing the events calendar and budget for Fathom’s physical and virtual events, both owned and 3rd party Partner marketing and building industry relationships Scouting of events and potential venues and attendance at international events Booking, invites and logistics Working with commercial partners on joint promotional programmes Reporting event metrics and qualitative results to the Fathom team What you will need Relevant experience / skills: A minimum 3-4 years experience in a B2B marketing role An ideal candidate will already have experience working in climate risk data/analytics firm, investment management, professional services Strong copywriting skills A genuine interest in climate science and the environment and their impact within financial markets Some experience of CRM/marketing automation platforms would be beneficial Salesforce, Hubspot, Marketo, Pardot, Outreach or similar platforms will be highly advantageous Experience of organising webinars, speaker panels and other events and interacting with high profile industry speakers will be useful Personal attributes Strong networker and relationship builder Inquisitive with high attention to detail Strong written language skills Exceptional multitasker Genuine interest in climate risk and the challenges it presents to the financial markets Completer-finisher mindset Team player
